Delicious!!! I enjoyed the shrimp taco, and the carne asada taco. I had the flan for dessert, and while I thought it was okay, those I shared it with did not. But those tacos will make me go back for sure. The carne asada was tender and seasoned well. The grilled shrimp was not as flavorful as the carne asada, but I enjoyed it just as much. I am looking forward to going back! Some say these are the best tacos in the DMV. Well...I don't know anybody better, I will say that...happily!

I don't understand why this place has a 4 star average when they should have 5 stars! If you make a large order (ie multiple family bandejas), there is a good chance a taco or two may get mixed up. If you notice and ask if they can correct it, they will. But their tacos are excellent. I'm so thankful they keep their prices reasonable despite how much they fill their tacos. Their salsas (red "mild", green spicier) are excellent. I always drink some by itself even though I know I'll pay for it later! What you are NOT paying for : - ambiance - lip service, smiles What you ARE paying for: - Juicy, flavorful tacos filled to the brim at a great price - fast service, service to make things right

This restaurant is kind of off the beaten path. If you know where the new Lyles grocery store is or holy Redeemer elementary school this restaurant is very nearby. I had the shrimp tacos, pork with pineapple and beef. All had first rate ingredients. The shrimp in particular was not rubbery very tasty and with the Rulon sauce that came with it it was by far my favorite taco of the three. I also ordered a bag of homemade chips with salsa , and a side of guacamole the chips were nice and heavy so they would not break when you dipped into the guacamole which is fantastic. They had outdoor seating with large umbrellas and on a beautiful day like today I sat outside and enjoyed my delicious food. All the employees were extremely helpful and this is the kind of small business that you want to see Succeeded. If you live in the College Park Greenbelt Beltsville hyattsville area I would highly recommend giving them a try

I was excited to try a new taco place, especially one so well rated. They have a fairly standard taco menu and a straightforward approach (a lot of meat, some cilantro and onions, no frills). Their portions are generous, especially for their prices. I regret not getting a birria taco, or perhaps trying their birria ramen, but that gives me a reason to give them another shot. I had 3 tacos: al pastor, carnitas, and carne asada. The flavors were decent but the meat was slightly under seasoned. The carne asada was also overcooked. Overall, the tacos were dry and a little bland -- disappointing. My friend had 3 chicken tacos that she said were good but a little bland. The salsa served with the tacos definitely helped, but it was given a little too much to do. The service was friendly but slow (took about 35 minutes to receive our six tacos after ordering) and the seating/dining area was pretty generic, but comfortable. I will give them another try...they may have been having an off night, and maybe my order didn't play to their strengths (although they should be staples of any taqueria that offers them).

Birria Tacos were outstanding! I had this as well as the side of fresh guac. What I really liked about these tacos is that the dipping sauce was not salty, like I've experienced in the past. It was flavorful and blended well with the tacos. The beef was moist and tender, which is very important. Personally, I think they should charge more and give you 4 tacos in the order, only because if you come around with these tacos you may have to share :0) Before I forget, the mexican street corn was so good, the creamy sauce was coated in this zesty nacho cheese seasoning and right now they are also offering the mexican street corn coated with the flaming hot cheetos, if you like extra spicy. Tacos A La Madre, there are no bad decisions here!

This is my favorite taco spot at the moment. Ambiance is a quality lunch spot. I imagine you'll only spend 25 minutes in here, out of efficiency. There is plenty of seating, and they generally come out with your food in 6-8 minutes. They have jarritos (soda) to drink, in addition to fresh agua Frescas that they make in house. I really like the Mango and Tamarind, with Hibiscus coming in the #3 spot. 10/10 Their birria quesadilla tacos are crispy but tender, have form, and are flavorful. The consommé has a good consistency to it. 10/10 The tacos are very fresh. Good meat to tortilla ratio. The onions & cilantro are bring it to another world. Green or mild sauce work with it. Their spicier one (green), is bearable. 10/10 Their nacho fries with carne asada are a full meal- they could be your dinner and you'd still have leftovers. Great value, however, I wish the fries itself were a little more seasoned. Other than that, the balance of all the ingredients is A1- it doesn't have the problem that most of these dishes have, which is sogginess. 9/10

Solid taco spot! They're fast casual. There's no bar here - drink at home :) I've been following this place since I first heard about them. I see one is coming to Beltsville next year - even closer to me! The location says College Park but they're not near Maryland's campus - well not walking distance. I'm very picky about my tacos and this place did not disappoint. This past "Taco Tuesday," I placed an online order for two chicken tinga and two carne asada tacos. Price was fair - $15 or so. I arrived and they were ready. Parking is a bit tricky. Since I was just picking up I just parked wherever but if you'll be dining in, I would say pay attention. The tacos were so good. Very flavorful and filling. I really want to try their birria tacos. I might be back soon. Don't judge me : )
